Authenticated file deletion via unvalidated delete_file path
Published Aug 12, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Path traversal in Bbioon Purchase Orders for WooCommerce 1.0.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete server files. The delete_file() function fails to confine the supplied path before deleting the referenced file, allowing traversal outside the intended upload location. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; deletion of wp-config.php can interrupt the site and enable follow-on code execution.
