Continued authenticated access via persistent idle sessions
Published Nov 29, 2025 · Updated Dec 3, 2025
Insufficient session expiration in Kiteworks MFT before 9.1.0 allows local users to retain authenticated access through an idle session. Under undisclosed circumstances, the session-management logic fails to invalidate an active user session after the configured inactivity period. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access to an already active session and extends only the access that session already grants.
