Command execution via hard-coded login credentials
Published Jul 16, 2025 · Updated Jul 18, 2025
Hard-coded credentials in ZEXELON ZWX-2000CSW2-HN before 0.3.19 and ZWX-2000CS2-HN all versions allow attackers to execute commands. The device login accepts credentials embedded in firmware, exposing command execution and configuration controls after authentication. An attacker must reach the appliance on an adjacent network and use a high-privilege account; exploitation permits command execution and settings changes.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
