Administrator session-cookie disclosure via stored script
Published May 31, 2025 · Updated Jun 2, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in YiFang CMS 2.0.0 through 2.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in an administrator's browser. An article editor can save unneutralized JavaScript in the Article Management field-setting Default Value, which the backend later renders. Article-management privileges and an administrator viewing Field Settings are required; the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of the administrator's session cookie.
