Administrator-level file disclosure via download path traversal
Published May 31, 2025 · Updated Jun 2, 2025
Path traversal in YiFang CMS 2.0.0 through 2.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to read server files through the File parameter. The Admin Panel's downloadFile function resolves the caller-controlled File value without preventing traversal beyond the intended directory. An administrator-level session is required; successful requests disclose files readable by the web-server process, while file modification and service interruption are not established.
