Iframe sandbox bypass via improper access control
Published Sep 5, 2025 · Updated Feb 20, 2026
Improper access control in Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based) before 140.0.3485.54 allows remote attackers to bypass an iframe sandbox. A crafted page causes the browser's iframe sandbox enforcement to fail, allowing framed content to interact with its parent DOM. Exploitation requires user interaction and crosses the intended DOM boundary, with no reported code execution or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
