Administrative access via embedded root credentials
Published Jul 16, 2025 · Updated Jul 16, 2025
Hard-coded credentials in Digisol DG-GR6821AC firmware V3.2.XX allow physically proximate attackers to gain administrative access. The firmware's system configuration embeds root access credentials that remain recoverable by extracting and analyzing the device binary. Physical possession of the router and firmware extraction are required; the recovered credentials grant administrative access to the targeted device.
