CVE-2025-53712Network attack vector

Web-service crash via unchecked wireless-setting input

Published Jul 29, 2025 · Updated Jul 29, 2025

Buffer overflow in the wireless settings handler of TP-Link TL-WR841N V11 through 160325 allows remote authenticated users to crash its web service. /userRpm/WlanNetworkRpm_AP.htm fails to validate an input parameter before a buffer operation, allowing supplied data to exceed the buffer's bounds. Administrator access to web management is required; exploitation interrupts HTTP management until the router is rebooted.
