Camera service hang via crafted CGI request
Published Oct 23, 2025 · Updated Oct 23, 2025
Denial of service in Vimicro VS-IPC1002 1.1.0.18 allows remote attackers to hang the camera through a crafted CGI request. The /cgi-bin/action endpoint fails while processing the request, but the triggering input and internal failure remain undisclosed. The unauthenticated request must originate on the same local network; successful exploitation interrupts camera service until a manual restart.
