Unauthenticated database manipulation via unsanitized reset username

SQL injection in PHPGurukul News Portal Project 4.1 allows remote attackers to access or alter database data through the admin reset form. The /admin/forgot-password.php handler inserts the POST username value directly into a SQL query without validation or parameter binding, enabling time-based blind injection. No authentication is required; successful requests can read, modify, or delete data available to the application database account.
