OS command injection in Johnson Controls iSTAR Ultra 6.9.2.CU02 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute commands as root. Certain web application POST handlers accept parameter values containing operating system command syntax and execute the injected commands. An authenticated web session is required, and successful exploitation grants root-level access to the controller firmware.
