Authenticated SQL injection via raw todate interpolation
Published May 31, 2025 · Updated Jun 2, 2025
SQL injection in PHPGurukul Daily Expense Tracker System 1.1 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries via todate. The detailed yearwise-report handler inserts the POST-supplied todate value directly into a quoted SQL BETWEEN expression passed to mysqli_query. A valid user session is required, and the available proof-of-concept reference does not disclose which database operations were demonstrated.
