JWT token disclosure via unencrypted global configuration
Published Jul 9, 2025 · Updated Nov 4, 2025
Cleartext token storage in Jenkins User1st uTester Plugin 1.1 and earlier allows local users to read the uTester JWT token. The plugin writes the token without encryption to io.jenkins.plugins.user1st.utester.UTesterPlugin.xml in the controller's global configuration. Exploitation requires controller filesystem access and exposes the configured integration token without altering data or interrupting service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
