Token disclosure via unmasked job configuration field
Published Jul 9, 2025 · Updated Nov 4, 2025
Credential exposure in Jenkins Dead Man's Snitch Plugin 0.1 allows remote authenticated users to capture tokens from the job configuration form. The plugin renders each Dead Man's Snitch token as an unmasked job-configuration form value, leaving the credential visible in the interface. Access to a configured job's form is required, and the bounded impact is disclosure of that job's notification token.
