CVE-2025-53651Network attack vector

Controller path disclosure via absolute-path logging

Published Jul 9, 2025 · Updated Nov 4, 2025

Information disclosure in Jenkins HTML Publisher Plugin 425 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read controller paths in build logs. The HtmlPublisher.publishReports logger writes absolute archive paths during the post-build copy operation instead of limiting output to directory names. Low-privileged network access to an affected build log exposes the controller filesystem layout, but it does not disclose file contents or permit modification.
