Database modification via unvalidated sorting field
Published Jul 14, 2025 · Updated Jul 15, 2025
SQL injection in MeterSphere before 3.6.5-lts allows remote authenticated users to modify or delete database contents through sortField. Affected API handlers concatenate sortField directly into an SQL ORDER BY clause without prepared statements or a field allowlist. A low-privileged account and interaction with an affected sorting endpoint are required; exploitation compromises database integrity and availability.
