CVE-2025-53558Public exploit

Device access via shared management credential

Published Jul 31, 2025 · Updated Jul 31, 2025

Use of a shared credential in ZTE ZXHN F660T and F660A firmware allows remote attackers to log in to affected optical network units. The management login accepts the same credential on every installation rather than requiring a device-unique secret. Reachability requires adjacent-network access and knowledge of the credential; successful login exposes the management functions authorized to the shared account.
