Published Jul 8, 2025 · Updated Jul 8, 2025
Authentication bypass in Frappe Press before ddb439f8eb1816010f2ef653a908648b71f9bba8 allows remote attackers to log in without completing 2FA. The verify_2fa flow did not persist successful TOTP verification, and session creation did not require a recent server-recorded verification. The bypass applies when 2FA is enabled and grants a session after primary authentication without a server-confirmed recent TOTP check.
