CVE-2025-53543Public exploit

Browser-session data exposure via stored script execution

Published Jul 7, 2025 · Updated Jul 7, 2025

Stored XSS in Kestra before 0.22.0 allows local users to execute JavaScript when a user opens a failed execution's Overview tab. The Overview renderer places an HTTP task's error response into the page without neutralizing script-related HTML tags. The attacker must be able to create and run a flow, and a second user must view the failed execution; script execution can expose data available to that browser session.
