Remote code execution via inconsistent path normalization
Published Aug 5, 2025 · Updated Aug 6, 2025
Authentication bypass in AcePanel 2.3.19 through 2.5.5 allows remote attackers to access protected APIs through double-slash URLs. The must_login middleware tests r.URL.Path while chi routes the cleaned RoutePath, so //api requests evade the /api prefix check. The backend login path must be known and a session activated; versions 2.5.1 through 2.5.5 permit command execution and host takeover.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
