CVE-2025-5353

SQL credential decryption via hardcoded cryptographic key

Published Jun 10, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Use of a hard-coded cryptographic key in Ivanti Workspace Control before 10.19.10.0 allows local users to decrypt stored SQL credentials. The credential-protection logic relies on a fixed embedded key rather than an installation-specific secret, making the stored credential ciphertext recoverable. Local authenticated access is required; Ivanti has not disclosed the affected routine, storage location, or privileges of the recovered SQL account.
