Stored XSS via unescaped album purchase URL
Published Jun 3, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in SmartWPress Music Player for Elementor 2.4.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via album_buy_url. The album purchase-link field accepts insufficiently sanitized input and is rendered without adequate output escaping in the player widget. Contributor-level access is required, and the stored script runs in the browser of any user who opens the affected page, allowing actions in that user's session.
