CVE-2025-53399Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Media interception and injection via endpoint learning

Published Aug 1, 2025 · Updated Jul 21, 2026

Origin validation error in Sipwise RTPengine before 13.4.1.1 allows remote attackers to inject or intercept RTP/SRTP media streams. The endpoint-learning logic accepts forged RTP source addresses as legitimate endpoints, while vulnerable SDES-SRTP handling forwards packets with missing or invalid authentication tags. Except with strict source and no-learning together, forged packets can redirect call media, insert arbitrary audio, or interrupt a call.
