Browser script execution via unvalidated GET parameter
Published Jul 7, 2025 · Updated Jul 8, 2025
Reflected XSS in WeGIA before 3.4.3 allows remote attackers to run scripts in a victim's browser through a crafted id_funcionario value. The cadastro_dependente_pessoa_nova.php endpoint inserts that raw GET value into an unquoted hidden-input attribute, allowing markup to break out and execute. Exploitation requires a victim to open an attacker-crafted URL; the script runs in WeGIA's origin and can read or alter data available to that victim.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
