Code execution via unchecked MMRDecoder buffer pointer

Out-of-bounds write in DjVuLibre before 3.5.29 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code when a crafted DjVu document is opened. MMRDecoder::scanruns writes run lengths through xr into lineruns and prevruns without ensuring that the pointer remains inside either heap buffer. The demonstrated path requires a user to open a local attacker-supplied document in an application that invokes DjVuLibre, enabling code execution in that application's context.
