CVE-2025-53357Network attack vector

Cross-user reservation modification via user-controlled owner identifier

Published Jul 30, 2025 · Updated Jul 30, 2025

Authorization bypass in GLPI 0.78 through 10.0.18 allows remote authenticated users to alter another user's reservations. The update handler in front/reservation.form.php trusted a posted users_id when deciding whether the caller could edit the reservation selected by id, rather than authorizing that reservation object. Any connected user could submit the user's own identifier with another reservation's identifier and change that reservation without its owner's permission.
