Remote code execution via oversized RETR argument

Stack buffer overflow in FreeFloat FTP Server 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute code through an oversized RETR argument. The RETR handler processes the unchecked argument until 246 attacker-controlled bytes reach and overwrite the saved instruction pointer, redirecting execution into supplied shellcode. Anonymous FTP access is sufficient, and successful exploitation runs code with the privileges of the server process.
