Dangerous file upload in File Manager Plugin for WordPress 7.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to upload web shells. Patchstack has not published the affected upload handler or the precise validation failure that permits dangerous file types. Administrator access is required, and a successfully uploaded server-executable shell grants code execution in the web server context.
