Administrator file upload via unchecked car images
Published Jul 3, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in E4J s.r.l. Vik Rent Car 1.4.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to place files on the server. The do_updatecar and createcar controller functions accept uploaded car images without validating their file types, allowing executable content to pass. WordPress Administrator access is required; a server-executable uploaded file can yield code execution in the site's security context.
