Stack-based buffer overflow in Huawei HarmonyOS 5.0.1 and 5.1.0 allows local users to interrupt file preview via a vector image. The file-preview parser exhausts its stack while parsing vector-image data, but Huawei has not disclosed the responsible routine or malformed structure. The vector image must be parsed locally during preview, and the published impact is limited to reduced availability of the preview function.
