Unauthenticated file upload via missing type validation
Published Aug 25, 2025 · Updated Aug 25, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in Securden Unified PAM 9.0.x through 11.3.1 allows remote attackers to place arbitrary files on the server. The unauthenticated /accountapp/upload_web_recordings_from_api_server endpoint accepts any file type and content because file-type validation is insufficient. Uploaded binaries or scripts land in the web-recordings directory; choosing other server paths requires the separate path-traversal flaw.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
