Stored XSS via unescaped Mustache attribute values
Published Jun 27, 2025 · Updated Jun 27, 2025
Stored XSS in StarCitizen.tools TabberNeue 3.0.0 through 3.1.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript via crafted tab attributes. The TabberComponentTabs path validates allowed attributes but passes their values to Tabs.mustache, whose triple-brace placeholders insert them without HTML escaping. Any remote user who can cause crafted wikitext to render can run script in a reader's browser, exposing browser-accessible data and actions.
