Absolute path traversal in affected Samsung HVAC DMS releases allows remote authenticated users with Administrator access to read sensitive files. Samsung has not published the affected endpoint, parameter, or the validation failure that permits absolute filesystem paths. Reachability requires Administrator credentials and network access to the appliance, and the reported consequence is limited to file confidentiality.
