Information disclosure in affected Oracle Java SE and GraalVM JAXP releases allows remote attackers to read data through crafted XML. XPathImplUtil created a fresh DOM parser without propagating the XPath factory's XML security properties, leaving external-access restrictions unenforced. Exposure requires an application or web service to pass attacker-controlled XML to JAXP APIs, or sandboxed untrusted Java code; the disclosed impact is read-only.
