Authenticated appliance crash via undisclosed Analytics flaw
Published Oct 21, 2025 · Updated Oct 21, 2025
Denial of service in Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance Kit 8.8 Analytics allows remote authenticated users to hang or crash the appliance via HTTP. Oracle identifies the Analytics component but has not published the vulnerable operation or how crafted HTTP input triggers resource exhaustion. High-privileged appliance credentials are required, and successful exploitation affects availability only through a hang or frequently repeatable crash.
