Authenticated denial of service via undisclosed InnoDB flaw
Published Oct 21, 2025 · Updated Oct 21, 2025
InnoDB denial of service in Oracle MySQL Server allows remote authenticated users to hang or repeatedly crash affected servers. Oracle has not disclosed the affected InnoDB code path or the operation it performs incorrectly on protocol input. Exploitation requires high-privileged access over a supported network protocol and affects 8.0.0 through 8.0.43, 8.4.0 through 8.4.6, and 9.0.0 through 9.4.0.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=8.0.0 <=8.0.43
