BGP service interruption via valid UPDATE packet

Expected behavior violation in Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows remote attackers with BGP adjacency to reset sessions. The routing protocol daemon processes a valid BGP UPDATE for an enabled inet6-vpn unicast family and resets the associated session instead of preserving it. An unauthenticated iBGP or eBGP peer can repeat the packet over IPv4 or IPv6 to sustain loss of BGP service; no data disclosure or modification is reported.
