CVE-2025-52919Network attack vector

Invalid certificate upload via extension-only validation

Published Jun 21, 2025 · Updated Jul 28, 2025

Improper certificate validation in Yealink RPS before 2025-05-26 allows remote authenticated users to upload invalid certificate data. The upload path checks only that a file is smaller than 5 MB and ends in .pem, without parsing or validating its certificate content. The issue requires an RPS account with server-configuration access; its demonstrated effect is storing malformed data that RPS later returns, with no direct exploit reported.
