Improper privilege management in K7 Ultimate Security allows local administrators to terminate protected processes through crafted IOCTL requests. The K7RKScan.sys IOCTL handler accepts termination requests without adequately validating the caller before performing the operation in kernel space. Administrative privileges are required, and successful exploitation interrupts protected third-party services or applications.
