Unauthenticated data access via unvalidated paths
Published Aug 8, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Path traversal in MiCollab 9.8.2.12 and earlier allows remote attackers to read, corrupt, or delete data without authentication. The NuPoint Unified Messaging component accepts attacker-controlled path input without sufficient validation, but Mitel has not disclosed the affected endpoint or file-handling operation. Successful exploitation exposes user data and system configuration to unauthorized viewing, modification, or deletion and permits administrative actions on the server.
