Path traversal in QNAP VioStor NVR QVR 5.1.x allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to read unexpected files. QNAP has not published the affected endpoint, pathname field, or filesystem operation that fails to confine the requested path. An administrator account is required, and the disclosed consequence is limited to reading unexpected file contents or system data.
