Script execution via unrestricted Custom JS output
Published Jul 16, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Pixar Labs Master Addons for Elementor 2.0.8.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via Custom JS. The Custom JS extension accepts contributor-supplied JavaScript with inadequate capability checks and emits it into page output without sufficient sanitization or escaping. Contributor-level access is required, and the injected script runs in the browser whenever a user visits the affected page.
