Authenticated PHP execution via shortcode callback
Published Oct 22, 2025 · Updated Oct 22, 2025
Code injection in Sayan Datta WP Last Modified Info 1.9.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to invoke PHP functions via a shortcode. The lmt-post-modified-info shortcode treats each attacker-controlled hide_archive value as a callable and invokes it as a PHP callback. Low-privileged WordPress access sufficient to submit shortcode content is required, and execution occurs in the web server's PHP context.
