CVE-2025-52690Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Root command execution via unsanitized cluster username

Published Jul 16, 2025 · Updated Jul 16, 2025

Command injection in OmniAccess Stellar WLAN APs running AWOS 5.0.2 GA and earlier allows remote attackers to execute commands as root. The cluster_cor UDP service inserts an unauthenticated packet's username field into uci command strings and passes them to system() without sanitization. Network access to UDP port 32769 and Express Mode are required; successful exploitation grants full control of the access point.
