Unauthenticated administrator session forgery via hard-coded API key
Published Jul 16, 2025 · Updated Jul 16, 2025
Authentication bypass in OmniAccess Stellar APs running AWOS 5.0.2 GA and earlier allows remote attackers to obtain administrator sessions. The web management interface uses a hard-coded key to generate API signatures, so /api/login accepts a crafted spoofed request without administrator credentials. Network access to the enabled web interface is sufficient to obtain a valid administrator session and submit API commands that change access-point behavior.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
