Memory-safety defects in Firefox 138 and Thunderbird 138 allow remote attackers to corrupt memory via unspecified network vectors. The grouped CVE also covers Firefox ESR 128.10 and Thunderbird 128.10, but Mozilla has not published the affected files, functions, inputs, or invalid operations. Mozilla states that sufficiently developed corruption is presumed capable of arbitrary code execution; Thunderbird mail reading disables scripting, limiting exposure to browser-like contexts.
