Cross-account banner deletion via unchecked identifier
Published Nov 20, 2025 · Updated Dec 1, 2025
Authorization bypass in Revive Adserver 5.5.2 and 6.0.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete other accounts' banners. The banner-delete.php script validates the supplied client and campaign but passes each user-controlled banner ID to the deletion loop without checking banner ownership. A manager account with banner-deletion permission and a valid session token can remove another account's advertising resources, disrupting affected campaigns.
