Saved payment-card disclosure via clickjacking
Published May 27, 2025 · Updated Apr 13, 2026
Clickjacking in Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird before 139, including ESR before 128.11, allows remote attackers to expose saved card details. Mozilla has not published the exact Form Autofill locus or faulty operation that permits deceptive content to capture an autofill interaction. Exploitation requires interaction with a malicious page; Thunderbird email reading disables scripting, so its exposure is limited to browser or browser-like contexts.
