Admin console denial via unescaped parameter references
Published Nov 20, 2025 · Updated Nov 20, 2025
Format string injection in Revive Adserver 5.5.2 and 6.0.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to disable the admin console. RV\Container::initContainerWithParameters passes configuration values containing unescaped percent signs to Symfony's setParameter, which resolves them as parameter references and throws a fatal PHP error when a reference is absent. Administrator privileges are required to change settings, and the resulting error blocks administrative-console access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
