CVE-2025-52665Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via unescaped backup path

Published Oct 30, 2025 · Updated Oct 30, 2025

Command injection in Ubiquiti UniFi Access Application 3.3.22 through 3.4.31 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. The network-exposed /api/ucore/backup/export handler interpolates the untrusted dir value into shell commands without validation or escaping. Access to the management network is required; successful exploitation runs commands as the application service account and exposes door controls and NFC credentials.
